Technical Support Operator – Vehicle Inspections & GPS Installation

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Support Operator to join Mogo Kenya Limited’s vehicle financing team. The role involves inspecting repossessed motorcycles and cars, performing valuations, and installing GPS tracking equipment to support loan processing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of repossessed motorcycles, documenting condition and damages.
• Evaluate car values using industry‑standard techniques, considering make, model, year, mileage and market trends.
• Install GPS trackers on vehicles and ensure proper functionality.
• Install SIM cards in GPS devices and verify connectivity.
• Perform minor motorcycle repairs and coordinate with repair teams.
• Provide technical assistance to clients during loan applications.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, valuations, installations and repairs.
• Generate detailed reports for internal use and compliance.
• Uphold quality standards and identify fraudulent vehicles.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in English and Swahili.
• Good knowledge of the Kenyan car market and vehicle technical structures.
• High sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
