Technical Team Lead (Technical Team Lead 3)

About the role

Lead a technical team in a roughly 50/50 hands‑on and leadership capacity, delivering high‑quality software for ELMO’s HR platform and driving AI‑native development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Product Owner to translate business intent into precise, build‑ready technical specifications.
• Own the technical direction for the product area, including architecture, integration design, security and feasibility.
• Plan and guide AI‑native delivery, defining how AI tools and agents accelerate development safely.
• Maintain code‑base quality through code reviews, engineering standards and automated quality gates.
• Oversee deployment safety, managing release readiness, progressive roll‑out and rollback strategies.
• Lead resolution of complex production issues and technical risks while coaching team members.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on engineering background with React front‑ends and Node.js back‑ends.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, API design, integration patterns and secure application design.
• Proven ability to turn business requirements into technically precise, testable specifications.
• Experience reviewing code at scale and upholding quality standards for both human‑written and AI‑generated code.
• Strong judgement in AI‑assisted development and effective stakeholder communication.
