Technical Writer (Remote, Kenya)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Writer to join a global, remote‑first team. You will create and maintain documentation that helps developers and technical users adopt complex software solutions. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, product, and design teams to ensure clear, accurate, and impactful content.

Key responsibilities

• Own documentation for one or more product areas, acting as the dedicated writing partner for product teams.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to keep documentation aligned with releases.
• Develop deep expertise in assigned areas by testing technologies and writing user‑focused guides.
• Manage documentation projects from planning through publication and ongoing maintenance.
• Advocate for user‑centric documentation and incorporate feedback and analytics.
• Support the evolution of documentation infrastructure, including build tools and deployment workflows.

Required profile

• 3+ years of technical writing experience with a portfolio of developer‑focused documentation.
• Hands‑on experience testing and documenting complex software products.
• Strong ability to translate technical concepts into clear, accessible content.
