About the role

The Teller Supervisor supports the Branch Manager in delivering secure, efficient and customer‑focused banking services. This senior‑level role oversees cash operations, ensures regulatory compliance and leads frontline staff to maintain high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations, including transaction processing, cash flow, vault management and teller allocations.
• Ensure accurate and timely reconciliations of vault cash, teller tills, petty cash and bank deposits.
• Monitor branch financial performance and operational metrics, driving initiatives to improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Supervise, coach and mentor tellers and customer service officers, conduct performance reviews and support staff development.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, maintaining high service standards and supporting retention initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years (36 months) experience in banking operations or teller supervision.
• Senior‑level professional with proven ability to manage cash handling and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
