About the role
We are seeking a passionate Trainer in Graphic Design to join Kenya College of Interior Design (KENCID) in Nairobi. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality instruction to students aspiring to excel in graphic, interior and visual communication design.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, develop and continuously improve the graphic design training programme.
- Deliver classroom and practical sessions using industry‑standard software.
- Create curriculum, teaching guidelines and assessment materials.
- Analyse training needs and adapt content to meet student and market requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or a related field.
- Teaching qualification preferred (DTTE/PGDE) or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience or 3 years of professional design experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Archicad.
- Proficiency with SketchUp.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Proficiency with Premiere Pro.
