Transient Line Technician

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Transient Line Technician to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role involves ground handling and servicing of arriving and departing aircraft, ensuring safety and compliance with aviation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ground handling services such as refueling, towing, and securing aircraft.
• Execute FAA standard marshalling commands for safe aircraft movements.
• Assist with aircraft maintenance checks, inspections, and operational activities under supervision.
• Coordinate with T‑Line supervisors and team members to ensure timely service.
• Operate ground support equipment (GSE) and vehicles in accordance with safety protocols.
• Support procedures for large‑body aircraft handling and report any discrepancies.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of general aircraft maintenance experience (large‑body preferred).
• Demonstrated knowledge of FAA marshalling commands.
• Valid driver’s license (U.S. or International) and passport valid for at least one year.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements.
