Translation & Interpretation Internship (Hybrid)

About the role

The Translation & Interpretation Internship offers professional and practical experience in translation and interpretation within a development finance environment. The role is hybrid, allowing work remotely or on‑site depending on unit needs, and is open to master’s students who are nationals of an AfDB member country and fluent in English or French.

Required profile

• Be at least the age of majority in your country and not older than 30 years at the start of the internship.
• Currently enrolled in a recognised master’s degree programme (or within one year of graduation).
• National of an African Development Bank member country.
• Provide a letter from your school confirming enrollment or a copy of your degree.
• Fluent in at least one of the Bank’s working languages (English or French).

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard software packages: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
• Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
