Travel Specialist (Spanish Speaking)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, service‑driven Travel Specialist who speaks Spanish to join our lodge reservations team. You will be responsible for creating bespoke FIT leisure itineraries across East Africa and delivering an exceptional travel experience for international guests and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain constant communication with travel agents, tour operators, guests and suppliers via phone and email.
• Build and nurture professional relationships with international travel partners and service providers.
• Design and sell customised East African safari itineraries, ensuring guest preferences and special requests are captured.
• Manage the full reservations process from enquiry and quotation to confirmation, invoicing and travel documentation.
• Coordinate bookings with lodges, camps, airlines, guides and ground handling teams for seamless service delivery.
• Monitor bookings through to completion and adhere to company SOP turnaround times.
• Provide operational support, cover weekend/public‑holiday duties on a rotational basis, and continuously expand destination knowledge.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years experience in luxury safari reservations or tour consulting.
• Diploma, higher diploma or degree in Tourism Management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of East African safari destinations and logistics; knowledge of South and Southern Africa is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
• Ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously with high attention to detail.
