Treasury Officer

About the role

Thunes is seeking a Treasury Officer to join its Nairobi team. Reporting to the Treasury Manager, you will work closely with colleagues across Singapore, Beijing, Barcelona, Athens, and Ecuador to support the company’s international cash and liquidity management.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily forecasting of payout volumes using the internal Forecasting System.
• Generate and release daily funding wires and foreign‑exchange conversions, coordinating with banks, network partners and liquidity providers.
• Monitor network funding flows and confirm credit of funds.
• Assist clients with prefunding issues and manage working capital allocated to Treasury.
• Report working‑capital usage to senior management.
• Collaborate with Product and Treasury development teams to enhance treasury systems.
• Conduct daily safeguarding procedures for all Thunes operating entities.
• Manage FX execution flow and related monitoring activities.

Required profile

• Professional experience in treasury, cash‑flow forecasting, liquidity or foreign‑exchange operations.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multi‑regional team environment.
