Truck Driver

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team, responsible for safely transporting materials to project sites across Kenya. The role involves regular vehicle upkeep, coordination with the logistics officer and compliance with transport regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle checks, cleaning and fueling to ensure optimal condition.
• Collaborate with the logistics officer to schedule daily trips and routes.
• Safely load, transport and deliver materials to designated project locations.
• Verify delivery documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure adherence to all NTSA regulations and company safety policies.
• Undertake any additional duties assigned by the Logistics Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience driving Category CE vehicles.
• Secondary education completed.
• Valid driver’s license and certificate of good conduct.
• Proficient in English and Kiswahili with strong communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of routes throughout Kenya, especially Nairobi.
• Attention to detail and a clean driving record.

• Vehicle maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
