Veterinary Doctor – Animal Health Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Doctor to join our team in Westlands, Kenya. The role involves providing comprehensive animal health services to farmers, pet owners, and other stakeholders while ensuring compliance with veterinary regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and infections in a variety of animals.
• Administer vaccinations and medications according to best practice guidelines.
• Perform surgical procedures, including routine and emergency operations.
• Provide preventive healthcare advice on nutrition, hygiene, and disease control.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with farmers, pet owners, and industry stakeholders to promote animal welfare.
• Conduct field visits and deliver extension services as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognized institution.
• Valid practicing license from the Kenya Veterinary Board (KVB) or equivalent authority.
