Virtual Radiologist – Remote Healthcare

About the role

The Virtual Radiologist will deliver accurate, timely diagnostic reports from a remote location, supporting clinicians and patients across Kenya. You will work with a range of imaging modalities and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and report digital X‑rays, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography and fluoroscopy studies.
• Provide emergency imaging interpretations within required turnaround times.
• Offer consultation to referring clinicians during working hours and on‑call periods.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate, high‑quality radiology reports in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Utilise PACS, RIS, EMR and other hospital information systems effectively.
• Contribute to research, publications and peer‑review activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree with radiology specialization and at least five years of clinical experience.
• Strong diagnostic skills across multiple imaging modalities.
• Commitment to continuous medical education and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with teleradiology platforms.
• Experience using hospital information systems.
• Competence in PACS, RIS and EMR tools.
