About the role

The Waiter/Server will join a busy hospitality team in Westlands, delivering high‑quality food and beverage service to guests. This contract position focuses on creating a welcoming dining experience while upholding safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly, present menus, and take accurate orders.
• Serve meals, beverages, coffee, tea, and any special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining area, tables, and service stations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
• Handle payment transactions and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely order delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience as a waiter or server in hotels, restaurants or catering establishments.
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and manage time effectively.
• Team‑player attitude with a focus on delivering consistent service quality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
