Warehouse Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse activities at Tilisi Logistics Park – Limuru. The role focuses on ensuring accurate inventory, efficient order fulfilment and a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and loading of raw materials and finished goods.
• Develop and continuously improve warehouse processes to boost productivity and space utilisation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, audits and resolve variances.
• Implement stock rotation strategies such as FIFO/FEFO and manage slow‑moving or excess inventory.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, liaise with transporters and ensure timely deliveries.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, and inspect product quality before receipt or dispatch.
• Recruit, train, mentor and evaluate warehouse staff, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Enforce health, safety and regulatory compliance throughout warehouse operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and safety standards.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
