Weighbridge Supervisor

About the role

The Weighbridge Supervisor will oversee daily weighbridge operations at our Nairobi facility, ensuring accurate truck weight measurements and seamless coordination with transport and warehouse teams.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the weighbridge, validating truck weights against SKU thresholds and escalating discrepancies.
• Maintain detailed logs and digital records in the legacy weighbridge system.
• Generate daily inbound and outbound weight reports for the Deputy Lead Dispatch.
• Liaise with transporters and warehouse staff to confirm arrivals, departures, and truck readiness.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, local transport regulations, and safety standards; conduct regular equipment checks.
• Escalate delays, safety risks, and maintenance issues promptly to the Deputy Lead Dispatch.
• Identify and suggest process improvements for data accuracy and reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Mechanical engineering or a related field.
• At least five years (60 months) of experience in weighbridge operations or logistics coordination.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and high integrity.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate operational issues effectively.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar reporting tools.
