Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will support Healthpact Hospital by delivering accurate financial reporting, budgeting and analysis to drive informed decision‑making. This role combines day‑to‑day accounting tasks with strategic financial oversight in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial statements.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, cash‑flow projections and conduct variance analysis.
• Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights to management.
• Support internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
• Control hospital expenses against approved budgets and conduct break‑even and profitability analysis.
• Maintain fixed‑asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Review and strengthen internal financial controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
• CPA (K) certification.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Experience with hospital billing systems and insurance processes is an advantage.
