Accountant – Logistics & Distribution (Kikuyu)

About the role

Our client, a leading logistics and distribution company, is seeking a competent Accountant to manage cash, stock, and sales accounting across multiple branches in Kikuyu. The role ensures accurate recording, reporting, and reconciliation of all financial transactions in the ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily cash‑flow reconciliation and reporting.
• Oversee branch accounting operations for assigned locations.
• Process sales invoices and revenue reconciliation in SAP.
• Handle WHT receivables and petty‑cash reconciliation.
• Prepare and monitor branch profitability reports.
• Execute monthly bank reconciliations and loan‑payment updates in SAP ERP.
• Participate in branch visits, stock‑takes, and inventory reconciliations.
• Provide coverage for absent accountants and assist with onboarding new staff.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Head of Department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA‑K certification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Strong communication, analytical, and reporting abilities.
• High level of integrity, responsibility and teamwork.
