Accounting Assistant & Sourcing Agent

About the role

ShipCOD is seeking an Accounting Assistant & Sourcing Agent to support both financial operations and product procurement. This full‑time hybrid position combines bookkeeping duties with supplier sourcing, offering a dynamic environment for a detail‑oriented professional.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks, recording transactions, expenses, invoices and payments.
• Support reconciliations and prepare basic financial reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation and organized records.
• Source products according to company and client specifications.
• Identify, contact and communicate with potential suppliers.
• Compare quotations, prices, quality and availability.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers and follow up on purchase orders.
• Keep organized supplier and sourcing records.
• Coordinate stock transfers and purchasing activities with internal teams.

Required profile

• Background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow up effectively.
• Previous experience in sourcing, procurement or supplier management is an advantage.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Good knowledge of Google Sheets.
