Adaptation Monitoring and Review, Knowledge Management and Technical Advisor

About the role

The role focuses on establishing and operationalizing a monitoring framework for long‑term adaptation outcomes and the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) process in Rwanda. The advisor will also support knowledge management, collect and analyse lessons learned, and provide technical guidance to the project implementation team.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and operationalize a monitoring framework for long‑term adaptation outcomes and the NAP process in Rwanda.
• Support the project's knowledge management activities, including documentation and dissemination of lessons learned.
• Collect, analyse and disseminate experiences and lessons from the NAP process.
• Provide technical advice and support to the implementation of the project.

Required profile

• Relevant academic background in environmental science, climate change, development studies or related field.
• Experience in monitoring and evaluation of adaptation projects or similar initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage knowledge resources and facilitate learning.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
