Advocacy Manager (Kenya)

About the role
The Advocacy Manager will lead Inkomoko's in‑country advocacy agenda in Kenya, working to influence policy and expand economic opportunities for refugee‑ and host‑community MSMEs. Reporting to the Managing Director and the Regional Director of Advocacy, the role bridges strategic priorities with practical action.
Key responsibilities
- Engage in policy discussions and track relevant legislative developments.
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, NGOs, private sector partners, and displaced‑community stakeholders.
- Design and implement advocacy initiatives that align national efforts with regional and global strategies.
- Provide regular updates and analysis to senior leadership to inform decision‑making.
- Contribute to learning, adaptation, and knowledge‑sharing across the organization.
Required profile
- Proven experience in policy engagement or advocacy, especially in displacement‑affected or vulnerable‑population contexts.
- Ability to translate strategic priorities into concrete actions and measurable outcomes.
- Strong relationship‑building skills across public, nonprofit, and private sectors.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
