Analyst – Core Consumer Solutions (CVP)

About the role

This position is part of Visa's Core Consumer Product & CVP team for Southern & Eastern Africa. The analyst will support card payment product and customer value proposition management through analytics, market research, programme coordination and stakeholder collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Support development and enhancement of customer value propositions across consumer portfolios, including segmentation and benefit mapping.
• Analyse acquisition, activation, usage, retention and revenue metrics and produce dashboards and scorecards for product decisions.
• Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking across card products, loyalty, digital banking and fintech offerings.
• Collaborate with product, sales, marketing, finance and client services teams to launch and manage CVP initiatives.
• Prepare client‑ready presentations, workshop materials and quarterly portfolio updates for issuer engagements.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in banking, payments, fintech, consulting, analytics or related financial services roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Commerce, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a commercial mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating presentation materials.
