Animal Feeds Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Representative to promote and sell animal feed products across Kenya. You will be responsible for expanding the customer base, providing technical support, and achieving defined sales targets while travelling extensively in the coastal, central, western and Nyanza regions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new sales leads and business opportunities within the animal feeds market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, agrovets, farmers, cooperatives and retail networks.
• Conduct field visits, present product information and provide technical assistance to customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and gather market intelligence.
• Prepare regular sales reports and keep accurate customer records.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Management, Agriculture, Animal Science or related field.
• 2‑4 years of field sales experience in FMCG, agribusiness or animal feeds.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and strong negotiation skills.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and target‑driven.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of the agricultural/animal feeds market.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
