Architectural Technologist – Design & Heritage Projects

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Architectural Technologist to join our boutique practice, PUUC Architecture Ltd. The role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, heritage and conservation projects across the UK, contributing from concept through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Produce creative architectural concepts, feasibility studies and presentation drawings.
• Develop design options through freehand sketches and digital tools.
• Prepare planning application packages and assist with planning strategies.
• Create accurate Revit models and coordinated drawing sets, including Building Regulations drawings.
• Maintain the practice’s drawing and presentation standards.
• Coordinate information from structural engineers and other consultants.
• Undertake measured building surveys using laser equipment and traditional tape measures.
• Generate existing building models in Revit from survey data.
• Support heritage and conservation work, including Listed Building Consent applications, heritage statements, design and access statements, historic building reports, archive research and conservation area appraisals.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic with a passion for architectural design, technical excellence and heritage architecture.
• Willing to develop design, technical and professional skills within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Revit modelling and drawing production.
• Laser measuring equipment for accurate surveys.
• Building regulations drawing preparation.
• Measured building surveys and site data recording.
• Freehand sketching and digital design tools.
