About the role
The Coast Water Works Development Agency is seeking an entry‑level Artisan III to join its electrical team in Mombasa. This full‑time position provides on‑the‑job training under the supervision of a senior officer, focusing on the operation and maintenance of water‑pumping equipment. The role supports reliable water supply by ensuring electrical systems function safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and repair electrical equipment and appliances used in water‑works facilities.
- Perform routine pump operation, meter reading and attendant duties.
- Carry out improvement and corrective maintenance tasks as directed.
- Record maintenance activities and keep accurate logs.
Required profile
- Certificate in National Trade Test III (Electrical) from a recognised institution.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications.
- Willingness to learn and work under supervision.
