About the role
The Technical University of Mombasa is seeking an Assistant Technologist to support its mechanical production laboratory. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑organized environment for teaching and research activities.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and dust instruments, apparatus, and equipment used for teaching and research.
- Label and arrange storage shelves for components and items.
- Dispose of laboratory waste in accordance with required standards.
- Ensure safety and security of lab apparatus and equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Certificate of Secondary Education (or equivalent).
- Diploma in Mechanical Production or a related field (or equivalent).
- Holders of Government Trade Test (GTT) I training with at least three years of relevant work experience.
