Automotive Mechanic – Full‑time (Nairobi)

About the role

Unity Auto Garage (Nbi) Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join its Nairobi workshop on a full‑time, on‑site basis. You will work with a diverse range of light and heavy vehicles, performing routine maintenance, preventive checks, and complex repairs while upholding the company’s high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine service tasks.
• Repair or replace faulty components on light, heavy, and specialized vehicles.
• Test systems after repair to confirm proper performance.
• Maintain accurate service records and advise the team on required parts.
• Collaborate with the JUICED customization unit on specialized body‑kit projects.

Required profile

• Technical training or diploma in automotive engineering, motor vehicle mechanics, or a related field.
• Proven experience working in a professional garage or workshop environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, repair guides, and diagnostic reports.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and adherence to quality standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse team.
