Billing Accountant

About the role

The Billing Accountant at Liquid Intelligent Technologies Kenya bridges IT system administration and finance to ensure accurate billing, data integrity, and automated invoice processing for the company’s extensive fibre and digital services network.

Key responsibilities

• Generate, verify and process customer invoices using automated billing workflows, ensuring pricing aligns with active contract terms.
• Perform pre‑billing validation and configure new customer accounts in the billing engine.
• Process service terminations and update disconnected circuits promptly to stop billing in accordance with notice periods.
• Issue credit notes and service adjustments as required to maintain revenue accuracy.
• Maintain the integration between network data and the billing system to minimise revenue leakage.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of IT systems and ERP platforms.
• Solid understanding of core accounting principles and billing processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure billing accuracy.
