Branch Manager

About the role

As the Branch Manager in Nakuru, you will own the commercial results of the branch, turning annual and monthly revenue targets into daily activity on the sales floor. You will spend most of your week reviewing performance numbers, coaching the sales team, managing stock, and ensuring customers leave satisfied.

Key responsibilities

• Translate monthly and annual sales targets into clear weekly and daily goals for each sales team member.
• Design and execute local strategies that grow revenue, attract new customers, and increase repeat business.
• Track sales performance in real time, analyse trends, and deliver regular reports and insights to management.
• Coach, train and mentor sales representatives through floor coaching, product‑knowledge sessions and performance feedback.
• Build and strengthen customer relationships, handle escalated complaints and maintain high service standards.
• Monitor stock availability and collaborate with supply teams to keep high‑demand lines stocked.
• Scan the market for untapped opportunities and stay current on competitor pricing, promotions and launches.

Required profile

• A diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least three years of proven sales experience, preferably in retail home appliances or electronics.
• Previous responsibility for managing or supervising a sales team with the ability to motivate and direct people.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and customer‑service abilities.
• Demonstrated record of setting and achieving sales targets.
• Solid analytical and reporting skills, comfortable working with sales data.
• Ability to work autonomously while staying aligned with the wider team and currently based in Nakuru.
