Branch Manager – Machakos

About the role

Directline Assurance Company Ltd is seeking a motivated Branch Manager to lead its Machakos branch. The role focuses on driving sales, managing the branch team, and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality motor insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sales budgets and achieve branch revenue targets.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Legal and Investigation teams to deepen customer relationships.
• Maintain deep knowledge of product offerings and value propositions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities.
• Develop innovative, tailored solutions to client problems.
• Prepare and submit accurate sales and marketing reports to senior management and the Board.
• Formulate and implement sales and marketing strategies.
• Lead product innovation and new product development.
• Grow the business portfolio and oversee marketing activities.
• Conduct regular business analysis to adapt to changing client needs.
• Act as a brand ambassador, promoting Directline’s visibility.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and manage day‑to‑day branch operations.
• Leverage technology to improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare periodic performance reports for the Board.

Required profile

• Degree in Insurance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the insurance sector.
• Strong leadership and team‑building capabilities.
• Excellent communication and client‑relationship skills.
