Business Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Business Controller to lead our US financial operations for a cutting‑edge technology company developing intelligent androids. Reporting to the VP of Accounting in Norway, you will help shape financial strategy and ensure robust administrative processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee US accounting processes, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Administer and continuously improve the employee benefits program, ensuring legal compliance.
• Manage cash flow, forecasting trends and setting accurate projections.
• Drive continuous process improvement and establish best practices across finance and operations.

Required profile

• Background in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Business Controller or similar role, preferably in a technology‑driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial and administrative management principles and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
