Business Development Manager – Kenya

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead growth of Unisure’s insurance portfolio across Kenya. The successful candidate will leverage an established broker and intermediary network to generate new business and expand relationships with corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business growth across the Kenyan market for International Private Medical Insurance, International Life and Group Life products.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with insurance brokers, employee‑benefits consultants, corporate advisers and other intermediaries.
• Build and manage a high‑quality sales pipeline, identifying and securing new distribution opportunities.
• Represent Unisure at industry events, networking forums and client meetings.
• Deliver sustainable revenue growth and achieve agreed sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling IPMI, International Life and Group Life insurance in Kenya.
• Established, active network of insurance brokers, employee‑benefits consultants and corporate advisers.
• Demonstrated ability to generate and close business through broker and intermediary channels.
• Strong understanding of the Kenyan insurance and employee‑benefits market.
• Highly commercial, results‑driven and able to exceed sales targets.
