Construction Interior Designer

About the role

The Construction Interior Designer will lead interior design projects from concept through hand‑over, ensuring functional and aesthetic solutions that meet client expectations and project constraints. Working independently, you will coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and clients to deliver high‑quality interiors on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative interior concepts, mood boards, material palettes and detailed design drawings.
• Manage the full project lifecycle, including site surveys, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and on‑site supervision to maintain design intent.
• Engage with clients to capture requirements, present proposals, obtain approvals and provide regular updates.
• Prepare cost estimates, material schedules and monitor budget compliance, recommending cost‑effective alternatives when needed.
• Oversee procurement, delivery and installation of finishes, furniture, fixtures and lighting.
• Conduct site inspections, produce observation reports and ensure workmanship meets specifications and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field; professional certification is a plus.
• Minimum 6 years of experience delivering interior fit‑out projects in commercial, residential, hospitality or corporate settings.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3Ds Max and Lumion.
• Strong space‑planning, visualization and material specification abilities.
