Customer Relations Officer

About the role

The Customer Relations Officer will be the first point of contact for the firm’s clients, delivering professional and timely communication across multiple channels. You will support the client acquisition process, nurture relationships, and ensure smooth hand‑over to the relevant service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to client enquiries received via phone, email, WhatsApp, social media and other channels.
• Direct requests to the appropriate department, track follow‑up and guarantee resolution.
• Manage incoming sales enquiries and assist the client acquisition journey from initial contact to engagement.
• Communicate clearly the firm’s services such as bookkeeping, payroll, tax advisory, company registration and related consulting.
• Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, follow‑up activities and documentation.
• Provide coverage for client communications when the CEO is unavailable, ensuring continuity.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Finance, Accounting, Communications or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in administrative, client service or customer relations roles.
• Experience in accounting, consulting or financial services is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll, taxation and business registration processes.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Nairobi and surrounding regions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp Business for professional communication.
