Customer Service Representative Escrow

About the role

The Customer Service Representative supports the Title team by handling research, preparing title‑related documents, and responding to customer inquiries. Working closely with Title Officers, the role ensures timely and accurate processing of low‑risk title files in a deadline‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and production support to Title Officers and the title team.
• Conduct land and name searches using public records, the company’s title plant, and GIS databases.
• Research property records, compile historical data, and prepare chain sheets.
• Utilize title production software such as Resware and county systems to complete tasks.
• Review documents for accuracy, coordinate recording with county offices, and maintain logs.
• Prepare reports, guarantees, and assist with low‑risk title insurance products.
• Maintain organized electronic records of customer requests and title files.
• Communicate professionally with customers via phone, email, and in person.
• Support phone coverage, handle property inspections, and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret property‑related documents.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
• Basic mathematical skills (percentages, ratios, proportions).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Windows applications.
