Customer Service Representative – Escrow Services

About the role

The Customer Service Representative supports the Title team by handling research, preparing title‑related documents, and responding to customer inquiries. Working closely with Title Officers, you will ensure timely and accurate processing of low‑risk title files in a deadline‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and production support to Title Officers and the title team.
• Conduct land and name searches using public records, the company’s title plant, and GIS databases.
• Prepare chain sheets, review property information, and ensure document accuracy before county recording.
• Coordinate document recording, maintain production logs, and prepare reports and guarantees.
• Assist with policy preparation, post‑policy requests, and delivery of completed documents.
• Maintain organized electronic records of customer requests and title files.
• Communicate professionally with customers via phone, email, and in‑person to address needs.
• Support phone coverage, general inquiries, and occasional property inspections.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document review.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
• Problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret data.
• Basic mathematical competence (percentages, ratios, proportions).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows‑based applications.
• Experience using title production software such as Resware.
• Familiarity with GIS databases and county record systems.
