Data Platform Engineer

About the role

Booksy is looking for a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain the core cloud infrastructure that powers its data ecosystem. You will work closely with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure reliability, automation, and self‑service capabilities across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure using Terraform (Terragrunt optional).
• Maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI for automated releases.
• Operate and scale Cloud Composer/Airflow schedulers for data workflows.
• Support containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE) and ensure their stability.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to enable efficient data processing and analytics.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience in data platform, infrastructure, SRE, or backend/DevOps engineering.
• Professional fluency in English (minimum B2 level).
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast‑moving, ambiguous scale‑up environment.
