Data Platform Engineering Manager

About the role

Booksy is looking for an experienced Data Platform Engineering Manager to lead a small, high‑impact team of platform engineers. You will split your time between people leadership and hands‑on technical work, helping shape the data infrastructure that powers a fast‑growing international marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and mentor a team of 2‑3 platform engineers, driving agile delivery and managing OKRs.
• Design, implement, and maintain Terraform/Terragrunt modules on Google Cloud Platform.
• Champion data security controls, including Dataplex and DLP.
• Build self‑service developer tools that enable downstream data teams to work confidently.
• Collaborate with the Head of Data Engineering and other stakeholders to define platform roadmaps.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, or managing technical teams.
• Professional fluency in English (B2 level or higher).
