Digital Power PV Solution Sales Manager

About the role

Huawei Kenya is seeking a Digital Power PV Solution Sales Manager to lead the design and delivery of advanced power‑grid solutions for our customers. You will combine technical expertise with sales acumen to create tailored energy storage and distribution systems that meet client needs and market trends.

Key responsibilities

• Design complete power‑grid solutions, including system architecture, energy management, distribution and control.
• Develop technical proposals that consider energy sources, storage, transmission equipment and intelligent control systems.
• Evaluate and optimise alternative technical options to improve efficiency, reliability and cost‑effectiveness.
• Communicate designs and project plans with customers, internal teams and external partners, coordinating resources to drive progress.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues during design and implementation phases.
• Monitor industry developments, policy changes and market trends to keep solutions competitive.
• Plan and execute project schedules, manage resources and control budgets to ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of power systems, energy storage technologies and grid integration.
• Experience designing and configuring energy‑storage projects.
• Ability to produce layout plans and technical proposals based on customer requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Technical solution planning for power‑grid and storage systems.
