About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Dining Room Waitress to join our team at Jumba Ruins Monsoon, a beachfront restaurant on the Kenyan coast. This full‑time, on‑site position offers the chance to serve guests in a relaxed, sea‑side setting while showcasing our fresh, locally sourced seafood menu.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and make knowledgeable recommendations.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
• Address guest requests or concerns to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout service.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate service flow.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Experience or solid understanding of food & beverage service.
• Basic cooking knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
