Direct Sales Representative – Mombasa

About the role

Premier Bank is seeking energetic Direct Sales Representatives to expand its customer base in Mombasa. You will be responsible for promoting the bank’s products, opening new accounts, and re‑activating dormant ones while delivering excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Actively sell and cross‑sell banking products to new and existing customers.
• Persuade prospects to open accounts and follow up on dormant or unfunded accounts.
• Maintain and regularly update the customer sales database.
• Conduct market research during field assignments and report insights to sales managers.
• Support marketing activations and campaigns for new products.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports and track pipeline trends.
• Deliver presentations to potential customers highlighting the benefits of Premier Bank accounts.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma in Sales & Marketing; a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Public Relations is preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant sales or business development experience with a proven results record.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently.
• Good knowledge of banking products, KYC and account‑opening requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Effective communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues.
