Director, Partnership and Growth

About the role

The Director, Partnership and Growth will lead market development and ecosystem engagement to advance equitable, high‑quality healthcare in Kenya. Based in Nairobi, you will shape regional strategy, build collaborative partnerships, and champion maternal and fetal health initiatives, including portable ultrasound training and certification.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Inteleos Africa’s strategic direction in Kenya, focusing on Quality, Agency, and Access.
• Drive adoption of national ultrasound certification standards through collaboration with KENAS, NNCK and other regulators.
• Design career development and entrepreneurship programs for healthcare workers in partnership with the Ministry of Health and academic institutions.
• Build trusted relationships with public and private healthcare leaders to expand portable ultrasound training.
• Identify, engage, and secure strategic partnerships with government, NGOs, donors, and healthcare institutions.
• Advocate for integration of ultrasound certification into national health policies and clinical practices.
• Champion high‑impact training programs aligned with local priorities and global best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare management, business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of senior‑level experience in healthcare, startups, entrepreneurship or international development, preferably in partnership development, maternal‑child health or medical education.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Kiswahili preferred.
• Passionate about equitable healthcare and entrepreneurial economic growth.
