Driver – Nairobi

About the role

Lake Turkana Wind Power Ltd is seeking a reliable driver to operate company vehicles from its Westlands office in Nairobi. The role involves transporting personnel, equipment and goods safely while supporting the wind‑farm’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain company cars, ensuring cleanliness and regular scheduled servicing.
• Perform daily checks of motor oil, water, tyre pressure, battery water and brakes.
• Secure vehicle keys and documents when not in use and follow assigned routes and schedules.
• Detect, report and assist in fixing any vehicle malfunctions.
• Ensure the safety of passengers and cargo during transit, preventing loss or damage.
• Record mileage, destinations and travel times for accountability.
• Report incidents or accidents to the appropriate authorities promptly.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence (class ABCE) with an excellent driving record.
• Minimum three years of professional driving experience.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs and diagnostics.
