Driver & Tour Guide – Mara River

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Driver & Tour Guide to safely transport tourists to the Mara River and surrounding attractions. You will ensure punctual pick‑ups, provide basic tour information, and contribute to a memorable guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Transport guests according to approved itineraries, maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
• Provide basic guidance on destinations, routes, and attractions as needed.
• Assist with luggage and ensure passenger comfort throughout the journey.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, fueled, and roadworthy; conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
• Report mechanical issues, maintain vehicle records, and follow servicing schedules.
• Deliver excellent customer service, handling inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel usage, mileage, and report any incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, or transport services.
• Valid driving licence with a clean record.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Physical fitness and willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Valid Kenyan driving licence.
• Defensive driving techniques.
