Editorial Designer – Graphic & Visual Communications

About the role

DigitalQatalyst is looking for a creative Editorial Designer to join its Marketing Communications team in Nairobi. You will craft high‑quality visual assets that support campaigns, academy programmes, product launches and corporate communications while keeping the brand consistent across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design marketing collateral such as posters, flyers, brochures, banners, presentations and social media graphics.
• Create infographics, visual frameworks and other engaging assets.
• Produce print‑ready and digital‑ready marketing materials.
• Apply brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency.
• Collaborate with content and marketing teams to develop campaign visuals.
• Provide basic copy layout and design support for communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, Fine Arts or a related field.
• At least two years of professional experience in graphic or visual communications.
• Strong portfolio showcasing branding, marketing and digital design work.
• Experience designing for both print and digital platforms.
