Electrical Engineer – Data Center Construction (MEP)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead electrical installations for data centre projects. The role combines technical expertise in power and MEP systems with strong coordination and safety oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee construction and installation of electrical systems for data centres, including all MEP components.
• Apply expertise in power systems, cabling, MV/LV installations, lighting, earthing, pulling, termination, and quality‑control testing.
• Supervise installation teams to ensure efficient and accurate task completion.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to maintain smooth project workflows.
• Interpret and review construction and MEP drawings for data centre projects.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and quality‑assurance protocols.
• Prepare detailed project reports and present updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience on data centre construction projects.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale construction initiatives.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and proactive problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
