Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support the engineering department of a manufacturing facility. The role focuses on maximizing equipment uptime, ensuring safe operation, and driving energy efficiency across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Perform breakdown maintenance repairs and prioritize tasks in coordination with the Production Manager.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance according to the annual plan and prepare the preventive schedule early each year.
• Manage spare‑part requisition, inventory levels, and documentation for local and international supplies.
• Oversee energy management, monitor consumption, and ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations.
• Inspect main power boards, sub‑boards, and utility performance; liaise with contractors for service and repairs.
• Maintain a manual management system, issue and update equipment manuals, and manage the LOTOTO safety system.
• Support operators with technical guidance, maintain workshop cleanliness, and dispose of engineering waste responsibly.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the printing industry or with ISO‑certified companies is a plus.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and dependability.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Thorough understanding of engineering procedures and safety policies.
