Electrician – Crusher Operations

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our crusher operations team in Mai Mahiu. The role involves maintaining and repairing the electrical systems that keep the crusher plant running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on crusher plant electrical equipment, including crushers, conveyors, motors and control panels.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections, identify potential issues and record maintenance activities.
• Assist with installation, testing and commissioning of new plant equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance, report faults and support emergency breakdowns.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve reliability and safety.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of hands‑on industrial electrical maintenance experience, preferably in quarrying, manufacturing or heavy‑industry environments.
• Familiarity with crusher plants, conveyors and related electrical systems.
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and as part of a technical team.
