About the role

Lizzie Wanyoike Preparatory School is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to deliver the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) to primary or secondary learners. You will create interactive lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to a supportive learning environment that nurtures critical thinking and communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver learner‑centred English lessons aligned with CBC standards.
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor and report student achievement.
• Integrate ICT tools, group work, and practical activities to make concepts relevant.
• Maintain an orderly classroom that encourages active participation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s academic and character‑building goals.

Required profile

• Diploma in Education or a related field.
• Minimum of four years teaching experience (mandatory).
• Ability to teach the CBC curriculum in English.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
