About the role
Maryjoy School is seeking a dedicated teacher to deliver English, Science and Agriculture lessons to students in Mombasa. The position is full‑time and located in the Westlands area of the city. The successful candidate will join a vibrant school community and support both academic and co‑curricular programmes.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English, Science and Agriculture, aligning with the CBC curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate actively in co‑curricular activities and school events.
Required profile
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
- Minimum three years of teaching experience.
- Holder of a P1 Certificate or an upgraded Diploma in Education.
- Compliance with the Competency Based Education (CBE) and the new CBC curriculum.
- Excellent communication and writing abilities.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) – considered an advantage.
