Experienced Sonographer – Diagnostic Imaging

About the role

Penda Health is seeking a dedicated sonographer to strengthen its diagnostic imaging services across its medical centres in Nairobi and Kiambu Counties. You will use ultrasound technology to capture high‑quality images that support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ultrasound imaging services in line with established practice parameters and standards of care.
• Prepare patients for procedures, verify patient information, and ensure readiness for scanning.
• Produce timely, accurate results following the Ultrasound SOPs and maintain detailed records.
• Review test results for accuracy, correlate findings with patient conditions, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain equipment, conduct routine maintenance, and manage stock and supplies.
• Adhere to safety and infection‑control policies at all times.
• Support multiple Penda Medical Centres as required and perform additional duties assigned by the Branch Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography or Medical Imaging Sciences.
• Valid license to practice from the relevant regulatory body, if applicable.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sonography.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and professional standards.
• Proficient computer skills.
